About Evan
Hey! I’m Evan, a Korean-American actor from Alexandria, Virginia. I’m currently a senior at Missouri State University pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre and a certificate in Acting on Camera.
I’m deeply passionate about acting, as well as health and fitness. That interest led me to become a NASM-certified personal trainer. When I’m not working on acting or singing, I’m usually watching random YouTube videos about science, math, or the NBA. I love math and science so much that I nearly pursued a career in STEM. I’m glad I chose this path instead. My life feels far more fulfilling because of it.
My wide range of interests constantly fuels my creativity and often leads me toward new avenues, including voiceover work. I’ve always loved video games, especially ones with rich storytelling, and that passion sparked a desire to one day voice characters in the kinds of games that inspired me growing up. Whether it’s making nonsensical sounds as a mushroom in Hollow Knight or voicing a fully developed character across multiple acts like in Baldur’s Gate 3, I want to do it all.
I’ve always been able to connect deeply with a story, no matter the medium. It started with watching Adventure Time as a kid, continued with One Piece as I grew up, and eventually led me to my favorite musical of all time, Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. That show was the first piece of art that truly broke through the emotional walls I had built over the years. It created what felt like a small hole in the dam and allowed me to release emotions I didn’t even realize I was holding. That was when I realized storytelling does far more than simply entertain.
Entertainment, whether on stage, on screen, or in games, is something people look forward to after a long day. When I’m having a tough week, I think about the show I’m seeing at the end of the month or the next episode of the anime I’m watching, and I feel a sense of ease. Stories have a unique ability to uplift people and create connections between them. As a performer and creator, I hope my work can give others that same feeling.
If there’s a story to tell, I want to be part of it.

Lets tell a story together.
